FAQs

  • All children are welcome as long as they have a valid passport. Children under 4 will require a nanny to attend the kids club (which can be organised through the resort or many private companies). In 2024 we had children from 8 weeks old to 15 years old,.

  • This was a challenge in 2024 and the hotel are aiming to keep the group as close together as possible, but they cannot gaurantee it as it all depends on the other bookings at the time.

  • At this stage, full payment is not required until  30 days prior to the trip with no deposit, and the ability to cancel the booking with no penalty prior to that date.

  • Each room allows 2 adults and a child, and you can get a king-size bed or two large single beds. Additional rooms can be booked directly with the hotel but will not be at the same rate to ensure as many solo mums as possible can benefit from the bookings.

  • The hotel cannot guarantee interconnecting rooms, but if you email them as soon as you make your booking, they will do everything they can to make that happen. If you know another mum going, it is a great way to be able to have extra support and company on the holiday after the kids go to sleep etc.

  • The room bookings are for two adults and a child with either a king size bed or two single beds. If you want to share a room. you will just have to email the hotel and pay for the additional child for the room booking.

  • There will be a few things in place so you can get to know other families before you go and while you are there (none of these are compulsory, but attending some will help you make the most of the group aspect of the holiday):

    • A private, dedicated Facebook group

    • Zoom calls to virtually meet each other and discuss questions and plans (not compulsory)

    • A WhatsApp group while on holiday

    • A casual meet and greet event on the first Saturday afternoon

    • Dedicated tables at the breakfast buffet so you know you'll be sitting with others from our group

    • Scheduled dining with group tables for anyone who wants to join each night

    • A calendar of excursions for anyone who wants to go

  • In the lead-up to the trip, tips, tricks, and recommendations will be shared via email to the group, in the private Facebook group and on the Zoom calls. It's important you complete the booking form when you have booked so we can make sure you are kept up to date with all the important and useful information. The Facebook group will also be an excellent place to ask for other's recommendations on anything you are considering. I am also looking to secure a deal with a baby hire place and co-ordinate for you in advance (TBC).

  • This is currently a work in progress, but at a minimum, it will include a casual welcome meet and greet on the Saturday afternoon and then a calendar of optional excursions you can book into during the week so you can experience some of the family fun activities outside of the resort with other members of the group.
